North Central Cyclery is a cycle shop in downtown DeKalb Illinois. Tobie DePauw, the master of ceremonies at NCC, partnered with my senior class at NIU for a brand extension bake off! Ultimately my design was chosen, and I worked with Tobie for the next several months to expand the brand of North Central Cyclery.
For the bookmark/business cards, Tobie and I wanted it to function in multiple ways. Providing common conversions (from english to metric systems) and including a inch/centimeter ruler along the sides gives the bismark card a several helpful reasons for the recipient to keep it.
On the mailer Tobie wanted to include coupons for services at NCC, but also wanted a way to track and verify their use. I created valid scannable UPC barcodes and incorporated them into the design of the coupons.
